For a basic website, such as a small business or portfolio site with a few pages and standard features, my rates typically start at £500. For more involved projects, such as a small to medium business website with specific designs, interactive elements, prices generally range between £1,500 and £3,500. Each project is unique, so I’ll be happy to provide a tailored quote based on your specific needs!.
How long does a website take to build from a freelance web designer?
Every web design project has different parts. A typical brochure website takes about 6 to 8 weeks to complete. A more complicated build or something eCommere based could be anywhere from 8 – 20 weeks depending on the size and how complex it is.
What's your payment schedule?
I require a 50% deposit at the start of the project to secure the work and begin the design process. The remaining 50% is due once the website is completed and ready to go live. This ensures we both have a clear commitment to the project from the start, and you only pay the final amount when you’re satisfied with the finished site.
Will I be able to edit my website once completed?
Yes. I’m an advocate for content management systems (CMS). Using a CMS like WordPress means that you will be able to easily edit your website yourself with ease, without the need for any programming knowledge, by adding/editing pages and blog posts, etc. A training session will also be offered to make sure that you are comfortable updating your website.
Will my website be SEO Optimized?
Yes. I always make sure that my websites are search engine friendly and follow all the latest best practices. I also pay close attention to Google’s Core Web Vitals to make sure the website is as fast as possible, this includes modern coding practices like using WebP/SVG imagery and if using a CMS caching plugins will be utilised to again improve the performance.
What CMS do you use?
As a web designer I often use WordPress to power the majority of my websites. Clients often like to use this as it’s open source (meaning it doesn’t require an expensive yearly licence to use) and it’s very easy to use..
Do you work internationally?
Yes, I work with clients internationally. The entire process is conducted online, making it easy to collaborate no matter where you’re located. We can communicate through Zoom or WhatsApp video calls for meetings, feedback, and updates. This ensures a smooth and efficient workflow, regardless of time zones or location.
